weight gain

Hello

I had my surgery in February of 2004.  Lost 75 pounds then all came to a halt.  I maintained that for about 6-8 months.  Lots of life upheavals, move across country, new jobs, new house, unfaithful spouse     To say the least, I have gaine about 50 lbs back.  I am so sad.  Does anyone know of any doctors in Maine who perform either a stoma fix or some type of tightening of the pouch.  I may be off the mark, but I would like to look into this.  I do exercise regularly, but unfortunately my eating habits went way downhill with all the changes.  I know these are excuses, but life has been rough the past 2-3 years for me.  Is anyone in the same boat?  I would love to hear from someone if you have some information that I could take to my primary care physician.

Thanks,

Cindy

hey Cindy,  I' m sorry to hear about the terrible problems you've had to go through.  You've come to the right place.  These guys will support and carry you through on your tough days.  I'm sure some will pm you and talk to you privatly if you prefer.  as for Dr.  I have dr. Loggins and he is wonderful, but i am not sure about what you need to have done.  I'm sure calling his office and talking to his staff, they will let you know. 785-5710  Best of luck and come visit again soon.  Cheryl

Cindy, I went to your profile and it is beautiful, but there is noooo way I can read your blue on blue print, would you consider changing the font color for an old lady like me???

Hi Cheryl,

Just a little trick to get around the blue on blue.. .just slide your mouse over as if you were copying the text and drag down. It will highlight all the font in white.    People do that on myspace all the time.

Cheryl

I would love to change the colors every now and then, however, someone else did the profile for me and since I am in the old lady category, I don't know how to change those things???
Any help you or others can shed on that subject would be helpful.

Hi Cindy,

Welcome to Maine and the Maine OH board.

I've been through some rough times over the past 10 years myself......a little different than yours - but where it is the same is that I'm in the process of rebuilding a life for myself as well - so I know all too well how overwhelming it is to know which way to turn sometimes. I don't look at any of what you've been through as excuses, but more as reasons. We all do the best we can.

I don't know anything about the stoma fix or revisions, so I'm not much help there - but I'd be happy to ask my surgeon when I see her on the 16th.

Hi Cindy,
I, too, don't have any answers for you about revisions or stoma fix, but sure hope someone on here can help you out with that information.  Sounds like you've had a rough go of it...hope things are looking up for you now!!
Wishing you all the best!
