ok, so today's questions are about your wls....

1.  What is one thing you hate about having had wls.  That I had to resort to it in the first place, why couldnt' I do this on my own.

2.  What is the most important thing you do now, that you couldn't do before wls, to help you loose weight.  (example: exercise...)  keeping faith and continue to diet, as hard as its been, I did my best to keep dieting.  slacking off often, yes.

3.  What is one thing you feel you havn't been able to grasp/ physically or mentally.  I still hate to exercise...

4.  What would you tell a young person who is overweight, to help meet a healthy weight, without surgery.  Go see a nurtrition, learn, educate yourself, learn how to cook healthy.  I saw a show last night and a young 14ish girl wanted to have lypo, and kept eating fried foods, didn't like veggies, was sad, she had no clue how to eat healthy.

5.  If there was anything you could change through your process (example: insurance, testing), what would it be.  Invent some new liquid poop stuff, man that stuff was just nasty.  I can't understand why they can't make it better.

1.  What is one thing you hate about having had wls.  Excess skin....and the eventual plastic surgery.

2.  What is the most important thing you do now, that you couldn't do before wls, to help you loose weight.  (example: exercise...)  Exercise - walking.

3.  What is one thing you feel you havn't been able to grasp/ physically or mentally.  Dealing with my emotions - I gave up all my crutches (yes, I was a nasty smoker too).

4.  What would you tell a young person who is overweight, to help meet a healthy weight, without surgery.  I agree with going to see a nutritionist, but also I think counseling is important as well - although not everyone is the same, many of us have issues that contribute to why we eat.

5.  If there was anything you could change through your process (example: insurance, testing), what would it be.  I would have chosen a different wls program - my surgeon was excellant - but the aftercare is not fitting my life. I would love to be able to attend support groups but my hospital has them start at a time that no one who works a normal day and has to travel to them can get there.

1.  What is one thing you hate about having had wls.  That I didn't do it 10 years ago.

2.  What is the most important thing you do now, that you couldn't do before wls, to help you loose weight.  (example: exercise...)  PLAN, PLAN, PLAN - I plan meals, snacks, exercise......
every day.

3.  What is one thing you feel you havn't been able to grasp/ physically or mentally.  That I no longer need to shop in the "plus" sizes.

4.  What would you tell a young person who is overweight, to help meet a healthy weight, without surgery.   Learn what your body needs to be healthy, which foods, amounts of foods, exercise, water, and make a plan to do them on a regular basis. Enlist your parents, friends, teachers, so you have support, and can support them to be healthy too.

5.  If there was anything you could change through your process (example: insurance, testing), what would it be.    Have a support group on a weekend when more people could have the option to attend.

1.  What is one thing you hate about having had wls.  The fact that I could not lose the weight I needed to without it.

2.  What is the most important thing you do now, that you couldn't do before wls, to help you loose weight.  (example: exercise...)  I guess it is the portions I am forced to eat now. Thank goodness I have no choice in the matter.

3.  What is one thing you feel you havn't been able to grasp/ physically or mentally. That would have to be a mental one for me. I have not yet adjusted to the fact that I am small now. I have to remind myself that I cant shop in the plus sizes any more.

4.  What would you tell a young person who is overweight, to help meet a healthy weight, without surgery.  Ultimately It would be nice to catch them before the weight becomes a real issue. I think teaching children about the risks of being obese at a young age is very important.

5.  If there was anything you could change through your process (example: insurance, testing), what would it be.  I wouldn't change a thing I am happy and healthy now it was worth all the testing and yes even the lovenox shots.

Made me stop and think Cheryl. Now I need a  jk lol Have a great day all
