SO I HAVE MY PSYCH EVAL ON FRIDAY. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT? I HAVE DR LOGGINS AND I AM GOING TO 12 HIGH FAMILY PRACTICE 3RD FLR. PLEASE HELP IM JUST SO NERVOUS. WHAT IF I AM PSYCHO OR SOMETHING?

You will do fine! Honestly it was no big deal, but I can remember being nervous as well. I went through EMMC's program, but I am sure they are similar. My psych eval consisted of a test that had about 500 questions and then a one on one with the psychiatrist to go over the results and he asked me some basic questions. Good Luck

haha, psycho?? we've all thought the same thing. Are you seeing Holly? She is a very nice girl, asks questions about your past, diets, bring up. she will probably ask alot of questions about your Mom and how many issues you have with it. she will evaluate if you need longer Dr. care. She is mainly looking to see how you've handled you issues in the past. Are you depressed, tried hurting yourself, been abused? Just be honest, be strong. Every Dr. has a different set up with Pshyc eval. I didn't think it was bad. You have come a long way, are a strong woman and have done very well. Be strong and answer with authority... good luck..

no problem. she's really cool. she really is looking for if you have a clue or not. she's there to make sure you have a firm grasp on what is about to happen. a lot of the questions seemed stupid but she is looking for a reality check. you'll be fine. just be honest. we had an hour visit and after the first 1/2 hour we just chatted off record. you'll really like her.

Holly wants to know that you understand exactly what is going to happen to you, so read up on the procedure so you can explain it. Also, if you have used food for coping in the past, what do you plan to do after-that's the one that got me, I did alot of ah. ah...ah. LOL
No worries, tho....

I had Holly too. It was almost 1 1/2 years ago and I still remember the 3 words she asked me when I walked in and then told me to repeat them before I left. They were pony, blue, and nickle. I wonder if you will have the same words. I know Summer had them also.
She's real nice, you'll do great.

Holly is kewl! very pleasant to talk to.......pony, blue, nickel!! haha! Me too! Just be honest and know what you are getting yourself into surgery-wise...You'll do fine! Let us know how it goes! (I thought I was nuts too...but she told me I was ok.....go figure??????)
