With Dr Loggins its kind of on an individual basis. If you are able to lose the 10 % weight prior to surgery you will probably just be put on a 48 hour fluid diet. Some have had to do the 2 week liquids whi*****ludes protein shakes if I am correct if not please let me know. Good luck with your journey.

ditto what Kathy said..........2 days pre-op is bad enough......I admire those that have to do the 2 weeks pre-op!   YIKES!!!

Yup, what they said, believe me, dieting for your 10% weight loss is alot easier, Not that I made my goal, but I would never be able to  do 2 weeks of liquid.

You guys are SO lucky. The surgeons in Bangor require healthy eating prior to surgery, with weight loss- though there's no required #.
We do 2 weeks of liquid high protein prior to and after surgery. Our consists of protein drinks, strained health request cream soups, yogurt, SF/FF puddings, popsicles, water.
