The countdown....
15 days until Lobster dinner- my choice for the "last supper"
16 days until high protein liquid diet for 2 weeks
30 days til surgery!!!

I phoned Dr. Toder's office yesterday. I have done everything I need to do for pre-op with her. The only additional testing may be if the anestetist wants a test or 2 done

Oh my gosh... I started this journey last year in Nov, I'm almost there  It's exciting and I'm a bit nervous all at the same time.

How cool is that. Hold on cause the ride is about to take off lol. It is such a life changing mind altering journey. I still don't see myself the way I am yet. I see the difference but say thats not me even when Im looking in the mirror. Hopefully my brain will catch up soon lol.

I remember the "one month away".....and I was so sure it was going to take forever to get through that month....much to my surprise - I blinked and the month was over and my surgery was done!!!

It is exciting and nerve-wrecking at the same time - it's one of the most important days of our lives - I think it's right up there with marriage and childbearing.
