oh, phew, i'm back, all better, I"m sticking to coffee first  thing in the morning.  I was hungry and had a wasa cracker w/ turkey and cheese, only got 3 bites down then bam !!!  I slimed for the first time....WEIRD ??  Making a pot of coffee as we speak.  Lots of Banders can't have bread or crackers, Looks like for now, I sticking to something else besides my beloved Wasa cracker.  I obviously don't like being sick but i'm actually excited something happend.... wooohooo.

Yay! Looks like you got the fill you needed this time Cheryl! It may be like starting all over as you learn what you can eat and what you better stay away from, but this is why you had this surgery! Can't wait to see the weight fall right off. Love ya!

yes, your right, learning what I can eat and from what I understand the band can be very finicky, can eat one thing one time and cause problems the second time,  could depend on what time of day it is.  I hear mornings your usually tighter.  I'm just glad I"ve read so much about this,  cause it could have been scary.  thanks,  Cheryl

Glad you are okay.  Sounds like you had the foamies.  Not much fun are they?

So the band is finally working for you. It will take a while for you to learn what you can eat and how much you can eat. Chew, chew, chew. The foamies are no fun, I had them once too. I had the band before I had RNY two weeks ago and the foamies came for me after one of my fills. It was scary. I couldn't even drink water. I had to go back the next day and have some of my fill removed. The band can be very finicky. I hope you have better luck than I did.

I don't know what problems you had, but I hope I do too. Did you have a hard time getting started, other then that I"ve been doing wonderful.  just no weight loss. I'd be happy and would consider this a success if I could loose 30 lbs.  at this rate, that is like 200 lbs to you RNY'ers, geeee  I know I can still eat more then what I need to.  I just need to be careful at breakfast time seems like.
