Good Morning, I know you have been waiting to see how my first meal went. so here goes....

I got up and cleanned out my refridgerator, had baby carotts, cabbage, celery, zuch, cauli... (yea, you ask why, being I had so much gas yesterday)  anyway, I made a huge soup w/canned tom. and beef broth.

so I had a bowl of soup (took 2 bites) and a turkey burger (took 2 bites) got stuck!!! 5 mins. later, I'm ok, I was going slow and chewing well, so it wasn't bad.  I'm still hungry, so gonna try to take a few more bites (even slower)... I'll come back after i'm done and edit to let you know.

EDIT:  I ate it all, not full, but satified... after a few mins. of being stuck, all went well....??? Maybe too well?

Stinks that it got stuck, but it sounds like you are getting closer to where you need to be!  Remember to chew and go slow and hopefully you'll keep getting that satisfied feeling!  Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!!

I hope and wi**** is, but the facts are, probably not.... A fill can change in as much as 2 weeks.  It might be tight at first, and go away, or not tight and then start to get tight after a few weeks.  From what I understand, you keep saline in your tube from your port and it can move slowly or quickly into your band.  I am glad, to some point this is slow, not for the NO weight loss, but for me adjusting slowly.  I hear so many horror stories, where people forget about chewing, small bites and then htey get a big fill and bam, it hits them hard and it takes them a few weeks sometimes to eat and not be sick.  It has been a long time coming, and hard to stay possitive, but i'm trying.  Thanks for you comment.  it means so much to me that people are cheering for me.  Hugs, cheryl
