16 weeks, back from vacation

Hi all, I know it's been a while since I've updated.  Last Friday made 16 weeks since my surgery.  I'm happy to say I'm about 44 lbs. from goal and hope to meet that by the new year.  I would like for the first time in a long time to not have losing weight be my New Years resolution.  I just got back home from camping in Saco.  We ended up buying a camper a couple of weeks ago.  this trip was wonderful.  I hope to never camp in a tent again.  I'm not a roughing it type of gal...lol.  I actually didn't mind tenting, it was the rain pouring down on us I didn't care for the last trip we took.  This time around, the weather was beautiful.  I hope you all are enjoying this weather and that you are doing well.  I've posted a picture of our family in Old Orchard that we asked a stranger to take.  I tried copying and pasting it here with no luck.  Sorry to redirect you to my profile.....  Have a great evening!

Wow  Macismom you sound  wonderful.   Glad you are back  with us and  glad you had a wonderful summer.   I know what you mean  that it would be nice not to have a new years resolution to not have to lose weight.

Sounds like you've had an awesome summer and are doing great with your weight loss!  Congrats!  We are still a roughing it kinda tenting/camping family (as long as I can find a shower!  haha)   Enjoy the Fall!!!!  Ruth

oh, man... I outgrew a tent a few years back when I crawled out on my hands and knees and all the neighbors were sitting having coffee and were watching me and I couldnt' get up.  I guess they thought I was being funny.   Me, I"ve fallen and I can't get up...

Cheryl....please keep in mind that I'm laughing WITH you, not at you!     But the way you put things just cracks me up!  I love you for that!!!!!      I needed that smile!      BTW...I'm a PT and I can help you learn how to get up the "right" way!
