Update: Sorry I haven't been around

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around. Been a busy week here.

First off I want to say what a great bunch of ladies you all are. I loved meeting you all at the summer gathering in Poland on the 23rd. I had so much fun. Thank you Kathi for hosting it. Thank you Kate for the corn, my family loved it. Thank you all for sharing and talking. I can't wait to do it again.

Now the update: I've been busy helping my daughter pack this week. We moved my daughter Megan to Farmington this weekend. What a sad weekend. I cried all the way home. We left here at 6:30am Saturday and got home from Farmington around 8:00pm Saturday night. My husband had to drag me home. I didn't want to leave her there. It's hard to explain how I felt but my chest felt heavy and it was hard to breathe. I've talked to her on the phone a couple times, but it still makes me cry. I'm going to go see her again next weekend. She'll probably get sick of mom coming to visit. lol I'm going to try and go to her support group meetings with her in Lewiston, its support for her and I get to see her too.

My other children started back to school this week so I should be online more now. Its sad to see the summer is gone, with all the rain we got, it feels like we didn't have much of a summer.

I hope everyone is doing good. I've missed you all and welcome to all the new people. I'm going to be busy ready to try and get caught up on whats been going on here.

Hey Dori It has been such along time since I have talked to anyone.  Just reading over all the posts I am so sorry that I missed the gathering I have been so busy as it sounds like you have been also.  id your daughter go to college? Do any of you go to any of the meetings at the center any more?  I have been stuck at the same weight now for about 4 months I really would like to loose about 65lbs but If I am not careful the grazing is gonna get the best of me.  Sometimes I am suprised at how much I can eat.  Did you have a nice summer?  Have you heard from Missy?  It would be nice to get together.  Talk to ya later Tina

Hi! How are you? I wondered how you've been. I went every other month to the meetings through the winter, until May then I just went back in August for my 2 year Surgiversary. I've been going to my daughters meetings and appts with her, she's going for lapband through Dr Loggins at CMMC. It's easier for me to go to her meetings because they are closer for me.

Yes, my oldest daughter is in college now. It's hard to believe, but she is. 

Yep we had a good summer, it went by quick. How was your summer? I haven't seen Missy since the last time I saw you. I wonder how she's doing too. Let me know when you're going to another meeting. They've changed the times, did you get the notice in the mail?

It was nice meeting you as well. I do know how you feel my baby is starting Kindergarten this morning. Im trying to stay strong and positive for him cause I want it to be a happy time for him, but its not easy. Hugs headed your way I know you can use them.

How was your son's first day of school? How did you do? Did you take him or did he ride the bus? The bus seems so big when they're little.

     Timmy made out just fine he was so excited to go on the bus by himself. He had a really good day. First thing he said though when he got off the bus was I missed you.. He wasn't sad just matter of fact lol. I have a little video of him getting on the bus I will get it on photobucket later for all to see.

It was nice seeing you at the gathering! Amazing how the summer has flown by and the kids are all back at school!  Life keeps happening whether we want it to or not!  Wish your daughter luck at school...it'll be different, that's for sure!  Have a great day!  Ruth

My daughter doesn't have a date yet.
She wants to have it on her Christmas break so she can be home and I can help her. I have plenty of sick days saved up.

Summer was so fast, we didn't get to use our pool much because of all the crummy rain.

Off to work for me too.
