Saturday....oh my, did I eat that????
Ok, so don't flame me...haha (I know you all wouldn't, but still!) It's been an AWFUL day for food! BUT....everyone keeps saying that you have to live your life and eat "as normal as possible". SOOO..that's what I did today!!!!
Here's the damage: (Not good choices..I know..but dang, it WAS good!!!!!)
B: protein shake (off to a good start)
S: (at the reception, social hour) 1oz swiss cheese, 3 crackers, 2 pretzels(little ones)
L: (OMG...HOW GOOD!!) 3oz of prime rib, 2 baby carrots, 1/2 new potato, 3 bites of wedding cake and 2 oz of champagne (that was weird!! tasted good, went down well!)
D: salad with 2oz of turkey, lf dressing
S: 1/2 oz of almonds
I don't think I'm even gonna add up the calories today! I think I made the protein goal though! TOMORROW,......I HAVE to go work out! haha!
Fluids and vitamins....DONE!

Ruth, that would be a good day for most people, I think I'm starting to know you pretty well, i"m sure you'll walk 8 miles tomorrow, do 1000 sit ups and have 300 calories. and your right, you do have to live your life and live it like everyone else and enjoy what you like, just maybe not as much as you use to. I know alot of us are affraid to go overboard and go back to where we used to be, do you think you can eat like this for the rest of your life? 500 cal. a day??? I think it is amazing those of you who can do that. It amazes me. I usually have that eaten by 10am daily. Your have very strong willpower, wish I could buy some from you. Did you have a good time? did DH pay you alot of attention all dressed up and lookin sexy? we want to hear the details.
You didn't do bad, IMO!!! Hope you had a wonderful time at the wedding...you look FABULOUS.

Flame YOU! NOT! I hope they don't flame me! I took the kids (my great Nieces & Nephew) to Funtown/Splashtown. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza, a few french fries and about 1/4 cup of Dippin' Dots! Boy, are those yummy! I wonder how bad they are ie sugar content, calories etc) Oh but I worked it off!!! Goin' up and down those stares to the "Tornado" Oh my!! What an awesome fun waterslide! I recommend you all try it once in your life! My last ride down (I went about 5 times) I got a huge face full of water!! LOL Oh and I did all their rollercoasters and dragon's descent... Not as fun as Disney and Universal but still fun!

You're all awesome! I know, before surgery, I would have eaten the whole 8oz prime rib, all 4 potatoes and all the carrots and probably a couple of pieces of cake..it WAS really good....and a bunch of cheese and crackers before the meal too! In other words, I would have stuffed myself. As it was, I still stuffed myself, but on much less! (more details about the wedding on my blog, if you're interested)
And, I WILL be doing some sort of exercise today, but, I won't overdo it. Maybe just a hike with the family or something or the gym if we can't decide on where to go hike. We'll see what happens

Is it horrible that I don't think that you ate that badly? I don't see any fried food and you ate 3 b ites of cake ... clearly not that big a deal if you didn't dump! It couldn't have had THAT much sugar in it.
