Bone Density Test

I had a visit with my PCP a couple of weeks ago. He recommended a Bone Density Test . He wants a baseline reading prior to surgery. So another appointment,  Sept 11. I'm certainly getting all I can from my health insurance this year.

Have any of you had to do this?

I am really glad I changed PCP's. This one is very thorough and knowledgeable. I feel like I am getting superior care compared to my  former PCP.

I'm glad you've found a great PCP!  The bone density test is no biggie...I've never had one but all my patients say they are surprised at how easy it is!  Good luck!  Ruth
