just doing Ruth's job, I know she has a busy night, so this is what I ate today:

B: 2 coffee's, 1 wasa crac, 1 sl cheese, turkey pepporoni
S: Zuchinni and tom cassarole/w cheese 1c
L: Zuchinni and Tom Cass 1 c, Boca pattie
S: LF Yogurt w/fresh strawb.
D: small salad w/ff dressing, 1 taco/hamb/cheese, 1/2 egg sand/mayo (shouldn't have)
S: slice cheese and turkey pepperroni


Wow, lots of cheese today
64 oz water

D: 1/2 c. protein shake, just to see if it will kill the grumbles and emptiness
S: more water

and with as much water as I am drinking I'm still not even close to 64oz. lol

I was told the first week the most important thing was to stay hydrated.
I havent had any appetite the past 2 days so I was just concentrating on water. I did have 2 4oz. apple juice boxes yesterday. (but I didnt finish them)
I am so picky as to what I eat, that I'm not sure what to have.  I had no issues with the protein shakes for 2wks before surgery now they kinda turn my stomach. The thought of blended food isnt appealing either.
 I have the sf pops, sf jello, lite yogurt, applesauce.... just no appetite to have any.
And to top if off Ive had a annoying headache all day thats bugging me and tylenol hasnt touched it. I assume its because of just having water in my system huh?!?!

Do you still have the runs?  (sorry if that's too personal!!)  Is it getting any better?  Seems like water would run right through you...maybe that's why the belly has the grumbles?  When can you start other foods?  Just curious...I know every surgeon is different!   Hope you are feeling ok!!!!  Keep us posted!  Ruth

B:  protein shake   110cals, 17g prot
S:  lf cheese stick   60 cals, 8g prot
L: 1/4 lavash with 2oz lf ham   70 cals, 12g prot
S:  beef jerky  1 oz        80 cals, 13g prot
S#2:  (at DD's game)  protein bar  160 cals, 15g prot  (I didn't feel so hot after this, so I'm thinking I'm gonna stay away from them!!!)
D:  ???  maybe a salad?

fluids:  61oz so far
vitamins:  DONE!

Have a wonderful evening everyone!!!!!!!!  Off to go pick up the DD from school (they have to ride the bus home!!)  and then a quick walk/jog...then paperwork...then?  Bedtime! 

TGtomorrow's Friday!!!!!!!!   3 day WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!  WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!  Anyone have great plans????    Ruth

Cheryl, we would never wish that!!! We LOVE you!!!  

B: 1/2 cup Newman's honey nut cheerios  1/2 cup skim milk
S: Banana, 1 cup watermelon
L: Chicken Asian Stir-fry w/ Garlic Black Bean sauce (thursday is stir fry day at work!! Nummy!)
S: 2 Bananas, pkg of PB & Cheese crackers (Bad, I know.....but, whatever!)
D: 1 Spicy Chicken wrap from BK (Even worse, I know!!!) 
S: probably the other fricken wrap that I bought but didn't eat..... Argh!!  Guess what folks, it is still hard to keep on track....

This is me, being honest and posting my poor eating day.. this is not a normal day... don't worry!!

I know!! I can't get enough of bananas or tomatoes!!  I hated them before!!  I eat on average 3 bananas a day!!  What is up with that!!??  No leg cramps ever!  Do you know if they cause depression?? LOL
