Avatar Help

All you tech savvy friends, I need your help.  I can't seem to take the picture of me on my profile and do anything with it to make it my avatar.  Ruth, you are a wonder at this stuff, how do I do it?  I am so te*****ompetent.  LOL.  It makes me so angry trying to do these new things.  Thanks again.  Missi

hi Missi,
I use my photo editing software to shrink the picture. I just "resize it for mobile device" and that makes it small enough to use for an avatar as it has to be 100x100 pixels or something.  You can also use Photobucket.com to shrink the picture.  Then, once it's resized, it's a matter of uploading it under the user settings listed to the left of the message board.

If you can't get it resized, email it to me and I can do it for you ([email protected]).
