Tomorrow is my big day

I am having my surgery tomorrow and am both excited and nervous. It has been a long road and I hope after taking this new step that it works out well for me. I am having lap RNY. Any last words of wisdom out there?

Congrats on taking this journey to a healthier you. If you are really nauseous after surgery in the hospital ask them for the motion sickness patch for behind your ear it really helps.

Advice...do your best, follow Dr.'s directions, and ask ANY questions you have as many times as you need to for you to fully understand the answers.

My best to you, Eileen!!  My best advice I can give you, is do everything the surgeon tells you to do!! Don't test the waters, like I did!! 

Thanks for the well wishes ladies. I will post as soon as I feel well enough later in the week.  I need to go to bed now as I have to get up at 4AM to get ready and be at the hostpital by 6.

wow your having surgery by my surgeon on my birthday, how cool is that, He is awesome , follow the rules, and keep moving after surgery to move the gas, and its over before you know, breath , relax and enjoyyyyyyyyyyy the ride of your life.. We love you!   Allicca
