Now that I'm journaling again and can see where I'm at, I'm wondering where I SHOULD be. The past few days I've been averaging just below 1200 calories. Knowing how much LESS I've been eating then previously because of snacking, I know that I was eating way  more than that the past few weeks.

Where should I be aiming? I know that Corinne told me at my last appt at 6 months out that I should be at about 800-1000 a day. Is 1200 too much?

I suppose I could just call our buddy Corinne, but I just hate bothering her. I know how busy she is!! I could wait until my one year appt next month (WOW!) but I just didn't know if someone furthur out them me like Anne or Stephanie might know?

Any insight gang?

When I had my one year checkup, the nutritionist said that is about where I should be.  I think I am getting way more now.  I need to cut out some things, I think!! I think I am closer to 1500 to 1800 a day.

I pulled out the "bible" according to Corinne: (for 3 months and on....that's as far as it goes in the book?!?!?)
Meats/protein: 6-8 servings/day at 35-100cals/serving
milk/yogurt: 2-3 servings/day at 90-110 cals/serving
fruit: 1-2 servings/day at 60cals/serving
non-starchy veggies: 2-3 servings/day at 25 cals/serving
grains/cereals/breads/etc:  2-5 servings/day at 80 cals/serving
fats: limit servings (that's what it says) 45 cals/serving
so.......If you average and add.............I got just over 1200 cals/day!  Looks like, according to my math (and what do I know???  not much!)  you are pretty much on track.  I'd email Corinne though and get her opinion...I've done that with good results!  Good luck!
Hope that helps!  Ruth

Corinnes black book also says from One year and out   " Caloric intake typically ranges between 1000 and 1200 calories a day . Although intake for maintenance will vary from person to person" 6 months to a year should be 800 to 1000 and I still struggle to get 800 in . Hope that helps
