I will check in for today only to say I had a REALLYM BAD DAY!!!  Daughter/nephew birthday party at 10am for breakfast and I wasn't really great ~ love my brother's eggs & homefries.  Had 1/2 muffin too...cofrfeecake.  When to the drive-in and just couldn't stop munching on my trail mix ~ it was an okay choice but I had WAY TOO MUCH!!  Now, 2 glasses of wine and currently eating NSA Edy's by myself is not a good choice...bad week I guess and I'm not a very good role model now am I????

I think this is more about sharing and not beating ourselves up about some of our choices...at least for me!  I know the fried dough and chips weren't "good" choices, but I chose this surgery to LIVE and sometimes........I WANT to LIVE and ENJOY some of those things that I used to eat by the truckload!!!!! (I'm just glad I didn't get sick!)  I think this will do me, at least, a bunch of good!   Thanks for jumping in everyone!!!!!   ENJOY this wonderful SUNDAY!!!!    I'll post today's thread a little later unles someone else starts it first....feel free!  honks to all!!!!!!   Ruth

It may be "sharing" for you "oldies" but for me...and the others who haven't had the surgery yet...or even the "newbies" who are early out...it gives us an idea of what a "daily menu" might consist of...so for that I say..."Thank You All for "sharing" !!

**Happy Sunday**

This is EXACTLY how I feel.  Exactly!  I want to live and enjoy and be like everyone else. 95% of the time I am really good.  But when I am at a festival, or on vacation, ior it's my birthday...I'm gonna have a fried clamcake and feel fine about it.  I may even have a few fries that I pick off my hubby's plate.  It is funny because I treat myself every once in awhile with a sf ice cream sndwich.  No nutritional value...so it's a treat.  What is funny about it is before I would have 3 all sugar ones, or 1/2 a dang tub of ice cream with chocolate sauce on top.   For the first time in my life I actually DON"T feel like I am on a diet...and LOVE it!
