Set back- but on track again

On Monday evening, Aug 4, I visited the ER with terrible abdominal pains. Tests ruled out any kidney or gallbladder problems. I went home and dealt with the pain with multiple medications for 4-5 more days. The pain went away, but left me 6.5 pounds heavier at my Thursday bathroom scale  weigh-in on Aug 7. I was quite devastated! working like crazy to loose and then a gain

So I didn't post my weekly weigh in last week. A bit embarassed.  This morning I am at 282.2, which is 2 pounds over my 2 weeks ago lower weigh-in. 4.5 pounds lost.  Yahoo! things are going in the right direction again.

Hate being ill, but things happen.  Damn I hate loosing the same pounds again, and again.   Downward, ho!!!!!!!

So sorry you were in pain. Have they figured out what is going on? Hopefully you are OK now. Keep us posted with that. Take care of yourself.

The nurse who checked me into the ER made a comment about abdominal pain being the common complaint that week- perhaps a flu bug or something?

I hope it's not serious and am glad you're feeling better. Be patient. The weight will come off. Only a minor set back. What's more important is your health.
