ride to summer gathering?

I am wonderfing about the summer gathering. When is the date again and I wonder if someone might give me a ride if I feel up to going and it is before my 2-week ban on driving?

Welcome to the bench!!  The gathering is Sat, 8/23.  Man I hope you can find a ride!! It just wouldn't be the same without you!  I am so sorry, that it is so far from where you are! I really wish I could come and get you!

Where do you live ??  I'd be happy to give you a ride to the gathering...just gotta figure out where you're at...

I've got a bus run to Boston tomorrow...but will check messages as soon as I get home tomorrow night...

It just occurred to em that I never responded to your kind offer to get me to the gathering somehow. Thank you! I think I have decided to drive it if I am still feeling as well as I am now. It will be my 12th day out and I have not taken any pain meds since surgery, so I cannot see a problem with it. Can you? I do thank you though and look forward to meeting you there!

You're very welcome...As long as you're up to it and your Dr. is OK with you driving...I don't see a problem at all...but if you should change your mind ~ just gimme a yell
