So, I never went to that craft show today....maybe tomorrow, who knows?

But, I DID clean the rest of my closet out!    All my favorite "dress up" clothes (Church clothes, Christmas party blouses, skirts, dressy pants)  all gone!  boohoohoo!  I LOVED some of that stuff!  I'm sure I'll find someone who can use it, but it makes me kinda sad too!   (Guess this is a "good" kinda sad?!?!?)  I should go try on my wedding gown...haha....wonder if it fits?

Now I have a question for all you fashion plates out there..........I have a wedding to go to in a couple of weeks (it's a Saturday morning affair....DH's bosses daughter...getting married at the Basilica in Lewiston, reception at Sunday River)   I NEED to go shopping for something.  Do I go dressy?  Summery? What should I look for?????  HELP!!!!!   (BTW...can't be sleeveless..unless I find a wrap or something....as my arms are..well.....yucky!!!!)   HELP!!!!

Thanks all!!!!!!!    Ruth

Ruth it is always part of our idenity, our cothes etc. I remember when I went thru cothes so fast as i was loosing so fast and I really for a while wondered who I was !!!Guess that is one advantage of weight loss SLOWING I have time to absorb all the changes!!
What are others wearing to the wedding?? That is what I like about Maine people can go to the same thing and some are dressed up and some casual and all treat each other OK.
Have fun what ever you wear .

I got a simple black dress at Penney's for a wedding and everyone loved it.  Nothing fancy.  It does have short sleeves...but they are VERY short sleeves.  I was paranoid about my arms.  I always see big flapping arms and just plain grossness.  Everyone else thinks I am nuts.  I saw your little armies at the meeting and I think you have nothing to worry about.  I think you will look wonderful no matter what you wear, and it may be you over concerned about your arms.  I get that way about my arms and stomach, but no one else seems to see it like I do.  Maybe they are just being nice...yikes...that would stink ha ha.

I say a summer dress or little black dress that is on the casual side and you can wear again.
