Hey everyone........just wanted to post and let everyone know how excited and SCARED I am about my surgery being only a couple of weeks away. I start liquids tomorrow and I have to admit I've been eating pretty much anything I wanted up until today. Although I don't think I've gained any weight. I hope the two weeks is enough to "shrink the liver". Hope all is well with you all!!

This 2 weeks will fly by. Eggface has quite a few interesting protein shake recipes you might want to try if you get bored with the protein mix and milk.

Terry (moodyblueeyes) found that gazpacho soup is OK during this liquid stage according to Lynn, one of EMMC nuts.

Your feelings of being excited and scared and perfectly normal in my opinion. I was the same way up until the put the mask on my face to put me out. The two weeks will go by very fast on liquids it will just seem to drag on some and then before you know it you will be at the hospital getting prepped for surgery. You are in good hands with Dr. Huang.

I was going to ask about suggestions for liquids..... I bought some Advant-edge shakes (all premixed) at Sam's club. I think I'll get some tomato soup and some sugar free popsicles. I'm headed to the store in a bit.... And thanks for the thumbs up about Dr. Huang...... I really liked him when I met him! I told him that everyone I talk to loves him and his reply to me was "well, you haven't talked to everyone!" =) I like a sense of humor!
