Hi Amber,'

Glad to hear you are doing well. The first three month are the roughest. just getting to know what you can eat and what will agree with you. For me somedays things worked other day its didnt. But it does get better and it is so worth everything you have to go thru, Dont think if i remember they arent going to let you have salad for a while. Your doing great keep up the good work. I didnt have the staples told them I did not want them. You will be better once them are out.

Time really does go quickly I can't believe it has almost been 7 months for me. You will feel like a new person once those staples come out.Sorry things have been making you sick. Try taking it a little slower. Keep up the great work.

Amber honey,
You are doing great!! Just remember slow and easy, and sip, sip, sip, get your water and protein in and don't worry about the rest for now.  The sald will be a while, I think...at least with Dr. L it is, now it is a staple in my plan, with chix bites in it, to have protein with every meal is my goal...
Hang in there it does get better and easier figuring this all out...
hugs and love,
kate

Hey Amber, how wonderful how well you are doing.  You will be so excited when you see the dr today and the scale has dropped.  Keep up the good work.  Although you must listen to your dr and nut, remember what all these girls are telling you about their journey.  I can't say much  because of my different surgery and having no eating issues but from what they are saying one food is ok one day and not the other.  so make sure you follow the Nuts rules, you don't want to hurt your pouch.  You want your pouch to be a healthy pouch that will work for you for a long time.  I met a woman yesterday that has RNY 10 years ago, had 3 kids since, and looks beautiful and probably still a size 10.  so remember ya'll it can work for a long time, even after pregnancy.  Best of Luck to you Amber. oh, and as for your salad, I wanted one really bad too, and was so happy when I was able to have one,  I was able to eat it with NO problems, but havnt' had any problems with any foods. just pasta one time, I tried it again this weekend, but it was not as dry and had alot of cheese and meat in it.  take care, hugs cheryl
