Busy weekend- what are you doing?
Saturday mom and I planned to go to the Maine Quilters show in Augusta. Invited DS, which also turned into her + 2 kids. The 5 of us piled into my car for the trip. Kids fought during the ride-
. The show was wonderful. So many talented people made wonderful quilts. It's still on today at the Civic Center from 11-4. Lots of vendors, every color fabric under the rainbow. I drooled over the new sewing and quilting machines. Walked around for hours, forgot to put on my knee brace- ouch that was dumb! Had a nice lunch at Red Robin- shared a meal with Mom. It was just enough
Stopped at Michael's, a farm stand and home.
Today I am playing piano at a local church. I do "fill in" Sundays for their regular pianist. The rest of the day will be yard work and inside work.

Went to our family reunion yesterday and had a wonderful time. Going back up to my parents to visit with my nephew and his family before they head back to Washington State. And my brother before he heads back to New York. My family is wonderful.:-) I am letting the family sleep in and am off to Church soon. Have a wonderful Sunday.
I also had a great day, we celebrated "Christmas in July" saw the whole family, ate, alot of fruit my nephew made this BEAUTIFUL fruit platter, although he had this dip That I did dip into, OMG, this platter must of cost him $70. and all fresh fruit, peaches, apples, wattermellon, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, pinnapple, I was pretty good other then the dip, didn't have a drink. but on way home we stopped for a "Fergie" in lewiston, and I ate the whole thing, NOT SO GOOD. MY DD, who never drinks has a few too many and was a pain in the Arse, will make sure I talk to her today, that little S.... Her fiance is an angel, I kept looking at him and he kept saying don't worry mamaG. I'll take care of her. Yea, but meanwhile she is annoying everyone. There always has to be one, don't there?? well, other then that, today we need to cut a tree in back yard that fell in storm and move our mailbox back, due to new road being paved this week. so all my flowers need to be dug up and re done. then plan on spending time out on lake before storm**** you all have a great Sunday.... Cheryl
opps, I wanted to explain that one, for those who didn't grow up in Lewiston. There is this hole in the wall called "Luigies" in downtown Lewiston that is known for spag./pizza and sells a sandwich with Italian bread, cheese, lettuce, mayo, ham, tom, call a Fergie, and its sooo good. anyway, I screwed up and ate the whole thing... I was a BAAAAD Girl...
As you know, I spent the weekend in Bangor/Brewer watching softball games! DD's team came in second place...not bad! Man, were they tired though! DD got hit by a pitch in the right forearm and then on the left thigh! Just wasn't a good day for her! She's ok though! Last game didn't finish until about 545pm, we drove home, unpacked, then had to drive to Shapleigh to pick up my son from camp so he could go to summer school today! Needless to say, Sunday was a long day driving!!!!!! Always good to be home though!!!!!! Hope everyone's weekend was fun! Ruth
