Hey guys...

I know I havent been around as much and posting but I do check in and read probably once a week. I'm really busy with work and spending time with the baby and we are hopefully closing on our first house by Aug 29th so we are getting everything together to move AGAIN. This will be 3rd, yes 3rd time since December, and I HATE moving. Thank God it will be the last time, at least for a while.

Is the bbq still on? I havent seen any recent posts about it.
Can someone let me know please?

Everyone is looking amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to take some new pictures this weekend. I havent taken any since memorial day so I will post those and some of the older ones I have of myself from back in Feb before surgery if you want to check them out.

I know exactly what you mean about being so busy.

As I prepared for surgery my mind was obsessed with it.  I was here all the time.  I had questions, comments, and possibly a few answers.

Then I had surgery and I spent most of my waking hours in the weeks after walking and healing.

Now I'm getting my life into a new "normal".   Taking care of myself, my family, my home, working, excercising, etc.  I log on every Saturday because that's my housework day.  Hey, we all needa break from housework, right?  I do try to log in during the week. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  But it doesn't mean I'm not thinking of you all.  Everyone has been very helpful.

As for the summer picnic Jackie I don't know.  I'm too far away to make it however if anyone wants to do something up here just let me know and I'll arrange it.  Nooo problem!

I look forward to seeing your new pictures.  I'm always looking at everyone profiles to see changes.  Actually I think I spend more time looking at my fellow Mainer's profiles than I do reading the forum.

I am pretty sure the summer get together is still a go :)  It is August 23rd at Range Pond State Park in Poland.

I am so excited to get an afternoon away from the babies and to see everyone!  It will be great to see others too that I have yet to meet from our Post Op Meetings.

WOW!  Moving!  YUCK!  Good luck with the move!  Glad you are doing well though!  It's good to hear from you!  As far as I've heard, the gathering is still on for August 23rd.  I can't wait to meet everyone too!  It'll be here before we know it!  Keep in touch!  Ruth

Yes the Summer Outing/BBQ is still on!!  I am sorry, I can't seem to get my butt in gear to send anything out!! But not to fear, EVERYONE!!  It is at Range Pond State Park on Sat, Aug 23rd and we are meeting there anytime after Noon! Hope to see you there! Be sure to bring your own drink/chair and a favorite dish or something to share that might be WLS friendly.
