What's your favorite drinking container? and a victory!!
When I am out and about my favorite thing to drink water from is a recycled glass Nantucket Nectar bottle. They have diet teas and I continue to re-use the bottle. After the news about odd numbered plastic containers being a health risk I have gone to glass. The bottle has a screw cap and has a wide mouth which allows a bottle brush cleaning and ice cubes and holds 16 oz.. I carry it everywhere, but left it at DD's house Thursday night.
Here's the Victory. I needed a water container at work. I purchased a Sobe tea with my morning coffee. OH NO!!! it was regular tea with almost 300 calories in the 20 oz bottle. Dilema- what do I do? I certainly don't want 300 calories of drink. I offered the drink to my coworker, who poured it into her container- I had the glass bottle to use. This seems like such a simple, petty thing, but I am so proud that I didn't let this mistake purchase at the store sidetrack me.
Do you have favorite containers or glasses? At home I have nice large "pint" bar glasses.

I agree...I like the SOBE bottles...a bit of a design on it...not just a plain ol' glass bottle
The opening is large enough to pop the ice cubes right in...
and I make my own tea at home with Splenda...so I usually fill an ice cube tray with the tea as well...
no more watered down tea in my glass as the ice melts
Hope you have a great week~end !!

Glad you read the label!! That's what it's all about! I use my nalgene bottle, despite the 7 on the bottom! I've also been drinking alot of just bottled water...and recycling the bottles.. I guess I should be more concerned about the plastic risk, but, well, Guess I'm just lazy! Sorry! Have a great day! Ruth
