5 Days of Liquid Diet after today, then Surgery!
Wow time does go by fast doesn't it? It seemed like I would never get through my appointments and come to this day...The whole liquid diet has been a challenge, especially doing it for 2 weeks, but I think over all I am doing just fine...Taking one day at a time! I've lost between 15-17 lbs. and have come to a stand still but hey I am not complaining...The only complaint is mother nature making her call...You see I haven't had her make her call since just after my daughter was born and she is almost 3 because I am on the depo-provera birth control shot. So as you all know with her calling you bloat, so I am sure I am holding some...I am hoping here I started now that surgery wont make me start...I know TMI, but we all share some TMI's once in awhile right lol...Anyway I am really excited about this whole thing, not really scared yet...but I am sure the closer it gets or on the day I will be both scared and excited, its only natural...Well take all and I have been reading all your posts, just dont always respond, but just know that I think about each and every one of you and the challenges you face also and your in my thoughts and prayers...Take care for now and I will keep you posted...I have surgery next Tuesday and I think my hubby will let you know how it all turns out...Thanks...

Finally it moved!
I've been counting down the days right along with you Angela. I do hope I at least get to see you Tuesday morning.
So far I've cleaned out my closets. I still have several dressers to go and I'm not sure if I'll get to them. But I do have a lot of sweaters, blouses (several of them silk), some stretchy pants, dress pants, jeans, etc. I'm just not sure how I'm going to get it all into the hospital in one trip! I'm thinking of stopping into your room and if you're husband is there possibly he can go outside with me and we can just move everything from my car to yours.
I didn't think it would be so difficult sorting through my clothes. It's so sad to loose my favorite pink silk blouse and my soft black pants. Ooooh, they are so soft. I hope you can enjoy them as much as I have. I just have to remember to look forward. Clothes are things and things aren't what makes me me. Anyway I'll be doing a little shopping Monday and Tuesday so I'll be able to replace some clothing. I just get tired quickly. An hour of shopping and I need to rest. I'll be taking a book with me so I can just sit and rest refrequently. Hopefully I won't get too involved in the book and forget to shop!
Don't worry about your surgery Angela. I never really did get scared. What is there to be scared of? I was scared of my health prior to surgery. I knew the surgery would be the threshold to my new, healthy life. I'm sure it will be for you as well.
