Bad Start to the weekend......

Well as most of you already know I suffer from really bad headaches due to pressure in my skull. Well Friday, the one day that i look foward to was a really bad day. It started off with light pressure, and a twinge of pain. As the day went I got really dizzy and tired. More than usual. About 1 i called my nueorlogist and he never called me back so at about 3 om i went to the Emergency Room at Pen Bay (Big Mistake) to get some help with this. Well their idea of helping isn't getting to bottom of whats wrong and running tests, oh no that would take too much time. They just Drug you and send you on your merry way!!!!!!!!!!! They STILL haven't set up my MRI appointment and they still haven't started me on meds to help with the matter any. I am really getting to the poin t that i dislike PEN BAY MEDICAL CENTER!!@!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry all i really needed to vent. I suffered all weekend from a "hang over" from the meds they gave me.

I'm so sorry Sarah, you should have turned yourself around and gone somewhere else, did your Nueog, call yet? boy, sometimes the med. field can be very frustrating, and we just do as we're told. Keep on them girl, and get better, talk soon, Hugs, Cheryl

I would find yourself a new Dr. There is no need of them not having someone get back to you. Sorry you had a horrid weekend. Hopefully your week will be better.

Oh my! Has the neurologist returned you call yet? If not, I would suggest phoning the office and having your records transferred.

There's no reason an MRI couldn't be scheduled by now. PBMC has the MRI machine there permanently. Not like in the past when it was there on a traveling rotating basis between several hospitals and it was only available on certain days of certain weeks.

I'm sorry you went through what you did.

WOW!!! Sorry you had to deal with all that!! I agree with everyone else that if your doc hasn't called back it may be time to gather your medical records and go see someone else!! It surely doesn't take long to schedle an MRI either...they shoud have done it while you were there!!! SHEESSHH!! I sure hope you are feeling better soon!!!! Keep us posted!!! Ruth

Well i called and called all last week to find out about my MRI. I called yesterday to find out about my MRI. Their exscuse is they have to have approval. Then it was before they could get that they had to have the dr ditate what he wanted, then it had to be typed, then they have to wait for insurance approval. Go figure
