just what the dr ordered

so last night for supper I ate like a horse, way too much to even list.  My dgt called and they needed a babysitter for her step dgt. so I said sure.  She can be a handful at 7.  again more then I can even explain.  so I planned out a busy day so she don't get bored.  We are going out on lake in paddle boat, making a picknic snack, then out to marina for lunch.  We are also going to have a sand castle contest. and going to make her Dad and my DD supper.  kinda a tradition...hope all goes as planned, we already watched a movie, played a game, bath, breakfast, pheew I'm not lonely so far today. haha,, Cheryl

Hey Cheryl ever thought of doing daycare as a fill in person? I know of some daycare ladies (including myself) who have a hard time finding someone to replace them when they have Dr. appointments. We can't just take time off to go to our appointments, we don't get flex time, we either have someone who can step in for us or we have to close early or even for the day. Most parents don't understand how hard it is for us to make Dr. appointments around all THEIR scheduals and when you have 8 to 11 families to make happy you are bound to make someone unhappy. I am very lucky that most of the time my mom helps me out but I am sure that some day there will come a day I will run into a problem. All you need is to have CPR AND FIRST AID for infant and child .

ummmmmm, NOT!! hehe i'm sorry, great idea, but i'm telling you I'm not the person to be left with a screaming kid.  I did day care for 2 weeks and on my last day I thought I was gonna break an arm.  bet, that changed your mind.  I am told all the time it takes a special person to do what I do, believe me, my job is easy compared to what you do.  Thanks for the idea tho...not to brag, but my kids were awesome, they loved to sleep, never cried, were well behaved, these kids were EVIL!!!!

WOW !!  sounds like a really *FUN* day...when can you babysit me ?!?!
