info on water
As Stephanie suggested I signed up for "Hungry Girl" article today talked about Metabolizm, here is just part of it concerning water... I didnt' know that, did you???
A lot of factors that influence your metabolism can't be changed -- a few of those are age, genetics and gender (well, gender can be changed, but not easily!). However, there are some things you can do to rev up your metabolism. First of all, drink lots of water. Research suggests staying hydrated speeds up your metabolic rate. And lack of water can slow your metabolic rate.

I just received the Hungry Girl cookbook. It has wonderful recipes in it. Didn't know about signing up for HG articles. I'll have to check that out.
Yup, water revs up my metabolism.... all those trips to the bathroom
.
But it also is great at helping me figure out hunger vs. thirst. Drink some water and wait 15 minutes. If not hungry, it wasn't hunger. Turns out most of the time it's thirst for me. Geesh... if I had only known that about 40 years ago........
