First Follow up appt

Hi guys,

I have my first follow up appt with the MMC Bariatric Team...I see the nurse, and nutritionist, Im sure they'll weigh me too. I dont see Cobean until the end of August...

Any way..Ill post my loss tomorrow....

Ive been feeling pretty good. All has been well. I did forget and drik and eat at the same time...and had a very bad pain in my chest...wont do that again!!

Im looking forward to start some regular food soon...and in someways nervous.

I still dont have a lot of energy...maybe Im expecting too much....Im sure that will come with more weight loss, and recovery of the surgery.

can wait to hear how you make out. if I remember alot of girls complained about being tired, are you going for bloodwork??  keep us posted,  cheryl

Your blood work will pick up if you are missing any nutrients contributing to fatique but girl you are only like 2 weeks out, slow down a little and rest!!!! Sip, sip, and rest!!! Good luck with the appts.

Sit down and rest when you need to I still got tired til about 2 month whenever I tried doing to much. Give it a little time and your gonna feel awesome.

Thank you everyone!! It helps me to remember Im not far out from Surgery and I need to give myself some time....I think my family sees me looking good therfore expecting the same of me...My DH has been supportive...but I think hes been feeling like "when will things get back to normal".

I also had a meltdown last night...I think just tired..and kids caused some stress...and in the past I would use food to calm down...and this time I couldnt...so I have to let the feelings flow...and know it will pass....this is hard.

 The whole thing is hard...I know I did the right thing....I needed something to help me monitor the food....and its working...its maybe just morning the loss of my favorite foods..does that make sense?

You had major surgery. your hormones are going to be going crazy for a couple months. Meltdowns are to be expected . It takes a good month for the effects of the anesthesia and pain meds to ware off. Your doing great. Keep up the great work.
