so happy to hear she will be ok, i'm sure she will have a long road ahead with PT but she'll be back to her old self before you know it... thanks for letting us know how she is doing...HUGS, cheryl

Glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it sounded last night...bad enough, but a spinal cord injury might have been worse! Hope she's on the road to recovery soon! Wish her my best! Ruth

Today's "update"...
Noni had a very long day today and dosen't even know it...as I write...I went into EMMC for a visit this morning at 10 and I was told that she was in surgery so back down to the lobby where I found Clayton...Noni had left her room at 7am for surgery because they didn't do it yesterday....but I have the complete scoop because I was there when the Doctor came out at 1:45...she gave Noni not one...but 2 operations today...Noni had a fractured hip NOT leg, (I asked the Dr.) and she put in a metal plate but didn't like the way it "looked" after they put it in, so she took it out and put another one in...She's still snoozing right now and for at least another hour...Dr. said if she can put her weight on it she can go home in a few days but if not she'll be in rehab for 2 weeks...

Again...I wanna Thank You all for your thoughts, prayers and concern...You all are just SO awesome !!
