My friend has been taken to EMMC...

Hi All...I just rec'd. an e-mail...my friend and co-worker who had WLS on May 1st has been taken to EMMC tonight...As of this evening 8:05, Noni is in Eastern Maine Medical Center, she had a horse accident, the horse reared up and landed on her, they sent her to Waterville but was unable to do what was needed so she was life flighted to EMMC...she HAD lost the feeling in her lower body, but the latest update was that she is headed for hip surgery in the morning...keep her in your thoughts and I'll update you with more tomorrow...Cindy

OMGoodness...what a scary accident, that she is alive is a miracle and we will just continue to draw on that with the Lord...prayers go out to her and you, her friends, as you rush to support her in whatever she needs.

Hi everybody...Cindy spoke with Nonie's husband this morning...she had a broken leg bone near her hip and had surgery this morning...they were going to have to set it with pins    she was able to move her toes last night so that's a "good thing" !!  As long as everything goes OK she should be able to come home in a couple of days !!
