Hi all, I'm scheduled for a trim on Thursday.  Should I get a whole new style?  I'm so sick of the time I have to spend drying and styling..... I am losing some too.   Maybe if it's shorter I won't lose as much.  I'm out of ideas.  I don't want to got too short or I'm afraid I'll regret it.  OK I need some suggestions.  I know this not life altering, but I'm bored here at work so give me some ideas!!!

You crack me up!  Bored at work!  haha!   It's definitely a tough call.  Of course, I cut mine, but I never put time into my hair.  Don't get me wrong..I LOVE my hair and it's driving me nutty that I'm losing so much, but cutting it didn't seem to help very much, except what I am picking out of the shower drain is shorter..haha!!!!  And, it'll always grow if you do get it too short!   Good luck with your decision!   Ruth  (Time for me to go get mine trimmed up...thanks for the reminder!!!)

That is as tough as figuring out what WLS is best for you. lol Personally I love mine shorter. I hate it getting in my face and now I don't have to worry about that anymore. Such a personal decision. I know you would be beautiful whichever way you choose.

I miss my long hair.  I recently got it cut shorter and now it takes longer to style and I'm pretty much stuck with only wearing it one way.  I like the versatility in styling my longer hair.  Also my Kitti likes to play in my hair and now that it's shorter he'll climb up my chest to my hair, begin pawing and then leave.  It was so nice cuddling and I have promised him I'll allow my hair to grow long again.

I have had mine short for years.  I have been growing it out and it is finally getting long.  I know I am going to lose some but mine is thick and I love being able to put it up in pony tail if I want.  I found short hair to be more work to keep it styled.  It sounds like most people cut theirs short after surgery.  Buy some hair style magazines and look over the styles and choose one you like.  Good Luck in your decision.

I cut 8" off mine in March just before my 1yr surgiversary.  I have gone another 1" shorter the last two cuts and  LOVE it this way.  I do have to admit that part of it is the color too ~ 3 color highlight.  But it's great...does take a little longer in the morning but I'll keep it short like this for a while!!  Go for it!!!  It will grow back if you don't like it.

I used to have long hair when I was in High School I had to work at it for a long time cause I have natural curls so back then I wanted it to be straight so it took a lot of work to get it straight,,, by the time I would walk to school deppending on the weather the curls would be back LOL all that work gone,,, Then I went short much easier,,, then a few years ago I grew it out again .,,,, found out I wasn't missing much so I kept it for a few seasons then went short again,,,, now I keep it at this lenght much easier no work involved natural curls do all the work... I'm sure whatever you choose will look GREAT on you. Just try a few inches and see how you like it, or try a layered look that would thin it out without going too short,,, talk to your hair stylist I'm sure they would have some ideas they have worked with your hair and know what styles your hair can handle,,,, Your beautiful no matter what you pick.... HAVE FUN WITH IT~~~~~~~~~~~~ Linda
