Survived the reunion
SO happy yours went well, I was not so lucky, but left early, without opening my big mouth, made it very obvious we were not happy, maybe they will get the hint about being so rude some day. OH, and being the better person, I've invited the whole family over 3 times so far this week and they keep saying they don't want to drive this far, so we should go to their house??? figure that one out? these girls have the "ME ME ME" syndrome.... you know they say that Holiday's are very stessful. Oh, and not one word from the Woman on my "Hoppy"... even when they saw me upset at one point and wispered and giggled. "I WILL REMEMBER THIS"....The Husbands are all very nice, gave me hugs and kisses, told me I looked great, talked about HOppy. I did the same as you tho, I faded into the background. now enjoy the rest of your weekend. Cheryl
Why do in-laws (or out-laws as I like to call 'em) have to be so freakin' mean & rude ?? As I said earlier, it took me 2 trips to divorce court and (almost) 25 years to get a mother-in-law...and thank God there's an ocean between us... they live in Holland and came here a few years ago for THREE weeks...by the end of the 2nd week I was ready to piggy-back that woman to the Jet Port !! What a mean and evil person she is !! Oh well...as long as she stays on her side of the ocean and I stay on mine we should be fine
Enjoy your day !!
