What wonderfully, eloquent woman we have the privilage to know and get their advice. I reallydon't have too much to add except, I remember finishing grad school and waiting for a job, I was beside myself, there were too many hours in the day for me to think, and to stop thinking sometimes, I would turn to food.  When food is our "drug of choice", we replace, studing, talking with friends, vlogging, or whatever is healthier, for food, it calls for us. You are in  a holding pattern right now, not really knowing what comes next.I spent time befoe surger y in the memorial section of OH, I cried and cried for those brave women who had surgery hoping to get healthier, and praying for them, they tried, knowing how they were living was a slow death. Ater suregry, my DH walked with me across my hill, about .2 mile, that is all I could do, now I am walk running 2 miles a day. You will do that , too, exercising hurts when you ae heavy, your knees, your back, breathingis hard...sweating is gross...surgery gives you back your body. and with it-your life. God Bless you , dear girl, you will find the strength and courage to complete this race, it is a marathon, not a sprint. The enemy loves to creep up and put doubt in our minds.  If God has opened the doors for you, walk through them... Love in CHrist's name, Kate

It was magic when she realized who she had become...

Terri, sorry Terri it is a rough time for you.  I wanted to write you something inspireing to help you, but after reading such wonderful replies I though I can't say anything more,  You are an inspiration in many ways.  and one day soon you will be feeling better then you have in sooo many years.  Just remember two things, 1.  we are always here for you and 2.  YOU... are your # one,  YOU suffer from your consiquences, and YOU are the only one who can change your life.  Just do what you have to do and if you screw up, so what, just jump back on the horse...  I had potato salad and 2 choc chip cookies yesterday and got on the scale this am and it hadnt' moved, which made me happy.  so today instead of having more, I choose to do my water and move on.  You also can do this.  Good Luck and Lots of Love and Hugs...
