Strawberry fields are in full swing up this way...good size and very yummy !! Potato Chips are gonna be my down fall...I did try the Cape Cod kettle-cooked...cooked in canola oil...0% trans fat and 40% reduced fat...just ain't the same    If that's my only choice it might not be so hard giving 'em up after all.  I drive school bus...but for the summer I'm driving bus for a golf & tennis camp at Belgrade Lakes...we're going to Sugarloaf tomorrow...I'll be back in time for the bonfire at a friend's though...Hope you all have a Happy & Safe 4th !!

I wish I liked blueberries...they just make me gag.  I love to pick them though.  One of my fondest memories is of my Mom & I picking blueberries together for hours.  I as newly married (first time around) and we picked and talked and were together...I miss her. Maybe I'll take the kids to pick strawberries today!!  They are asking for strawberry cakes...my girlfriend brough over strawberry shortcake for dessert the other night and they loved it. This evening we are all headed to my brother's house for a family BBQ (about 20 of us all together!!).  We can see the Naples fireworks from his front deck so it works perfectly with all the kids ~ 8 total ages 7 - 18months!! I like blueberries too, but not as much as the babies.  They were obsessed with them about a week ago.  They split a pint between them in one day!  I couldn't get them to eat anything else.  They kept pointing and grunting.  So I have to keep them out of site now. We are going to Rang pond when they get up from their morning nap.  We're heading down to the Liberty Festival for some of the entertainment at 4.  We will have to leave by 6:30ish though as they go to bed at 7ish.  No fireworks for me this year. Tomorrow we are  doing Rang again with a friend of ours (she is a doc Loggins patient in the process now), her fiance and their baby.  Then we have a BBQ in Lisbon to go to in the late afternoon.  Hopefully the babes will be so pooped they will sleep through ha ha...wishful thinking.

Did the babies get the blueberry "poo's"?!?!     They work great for that!  Sorry!  TMI!!!  By next year, the babies will be old enough to stay up later for the fireworks! They'll probably be scared the first year, but they'll love them from then on!!!!! I think we are gonna go pick some strawberries today then go for a hike somewhere.  Fireworks tonight at Great Falls.  Tomorrow, we are going to the lake with the whole family (my mom and dad, brother, sister, and newphews) It's an annual thing as my dad's birthday is tomorrow and mine is next week.  We always celebrate them both at the lake! (hope mom didn't buy an ice cream cake this year!  Would be fun keeping that cold at the lake!  haha) Tons of fun!!!!!!!!   Have a great day!!!!!!!!!
