Its done, went well, smooth, fast. I was holding him in my arms. remembering all the times he made us smile now. Thanks to all of you, I appreciate all of you, your words and hugs....oh, and yes, I'm having a beer and its DAMN good !!!

YOu know what, maybe that beer has gone to my head, but I feel him here, looking at me, I told my DH, I saw him walk in the house with him by his side, and I actually felt a cold nose on the back of my leg.... How strong of a spirit that little bugger had.

You did good. And Hoppy loves you for it.He knows how much you loved him. You will see him from time to time walk by. We did when we had to put our little Pandy girl down a few years ago. She is the reason I stopped chewing gum, she would bark every time I chewed gum so I finally just stopped . We go visit her at the pet cementary in Auburn. Cheryl, Hoppy's memories will live forever in your heart
