dreary Sunday

What you guys all doing today?  Weather Makes it alot easier to stay in and get some work done, hope the paint don't blister with the humidity.  I've got some touchup painting & stainning to do and wash and scrape a few windows( I didn't tape and they are full of paint).  laundry, and clean out some kitchen cabinets. should be enough to keep me busy for the day.  Have a wonderful Sunday all, and hope your week is productive, safe and fun...!!!

Good morning!.  This morning I am providing special music in church. Our choir has the summers off and we do individual musical selections. I will be doing 2 pieces of music, one a sung solo, the other a duet of piano and organ. Our organist will accompany me. I always love the instrument duets- they're so much fun and wonderful. After church I will attend the second day of a marble making class at the glass studio. I'm rather glad for the foggy weekend. John Kobuki is teaching borosilicate glass marble making. We learned how to make flowers marbles yesterday.  Check out this web-site with his work, http://www.kobukiglass.com/large.html Oh- if only they would send my paychecks home and I could play with molten glass all the time. I'm so spoiled to have friends with a glass shop 5 minutes from my house. I have taken classes at Corning Glassworks, Corning NY and they are great, but expensive with the travel, hotel and meals. I'll have to post some photos when I have some made.

Well, with 1-3" of rain forecast, I guess we will be inside!! The realtor came yesterday, and we now have a short list of things to get done, little things that we have just not finished over the years or things he thought would improve the "curb appeal". My DB is coming to deep clean carpets this week, I have a couple o quick paint jobs to match paint and get done, and then it is just keep everything clean and picked up and start on closets.  I love a good purge(no pun intended!!) of the closets and drawers of my house, try to do it once a year, but am behind a couple of years, I think, so this is good, even if we don't sell for a couple of years, this is good. Guess after Church I should get some cleaning done myself. I am the one that absolutely would rather be working outside. Being cooped up does me no good at all. Hugs all and have a um well a ducky Sunday.

WOW, i'm impressed, we all must of kept ourselves pretty busy, hardly anyone on all day.  Anyone hear from DOri??  I know she is busy, just wanted to say hi, and want'ed to make sure she don't miss the picnic.  My DH and I stopped once for supper yesterday, we worked so hard from like 8:00 to 7:45, when I threw myself in the shower, well, DH, kinda pushed me haha. and went to bed.  I'm back up at 11:55 to pee and grab a glass of milk.  wow, got a list of things to do, kichen is looking great, new floor tiles almost done, DH knees couldn't take no more.  hopefully tomorrow my new cabinets and counters will be done, and I can finish a mosaic rock backsplash I have looked at 1/2 done for a year.  I wish we could have the picnic here, but way too many people,  Wishing you all a wonderful week...Cheryl(going in for fill on Tues, don't think my weight has changed, getting tough with bbq season here and no restric help)
