ok, so my Dh and I worked our toucheee off this weekend finishing up all our new gardens, well, almost finish?  so it looked beautiful, tons of neighbors stopped and said how nice they looked.  so Last nights rain, brought destruction... there must be some saying you guys know, like "God's destructions bring spring flowers"  or something like that, hehe    because this morning I went out around 7:30 and looked over the mess and decided, ok, this is what I"m gonna do, I'm gathering river rocks and going to follow the paths the heavy rain made and gonna add a nice river bed to my garden.  so next time it rains I will be prepared and at the same time I think it will look beautiful.  I have just picked up about 200 rocks and my port is hurting, any volunteers to pick rocks??  I will take some pictures today and show you all my new gardens, remember they have very young plants and will fill out,  I can't wait for my DD wedding next summer, they should all be beautiful.  well, good morning all you beautiful ladies, I'm off to pick more rocks... Where is my strong Son when I need him???  Hugs, Cheryl

Yet again our screen tent on our upper patio was destroyed by the forces of nature. We are not going to even try again. Just a waste of money. Oh well. If I lived closer I would come help you with those rocks Cheryl.

Kathy, was your tent under you metal roof?? that is what washed the garden away,  I like my metal roof, but holy cow when that rain or snow come off from it, it is like NUTS... we saw some awsome gazebo tents at home depot yesterday, I WANT ONE now.... they even had fans in them...
