I'm Back!!!!

Today I am officially back to work  :(  Wish my leave of absence never ended.  I am such a workaholic that having 6 whole weeks off was heaven.   My surgery went well.  (Besides the reaction to the pain meds).  My DH said I was very "needy"  I don't remember most of my time there.  It is amazing to me that it has been 6 weeks on Wednesday that I had my surgery.  I am feeling great!   Everyone at work is so amazed at how different I look.  A few did not even recognize me at first.  They all went on and on about how awesome I looked.  I have to say I was getting quite embarrassed.  I am not one that likes to be the center of attention.  I never thought I would be able to shop in the misses department.  I love not having to buy plus size clothes.  I had to buy some new clothes my old ones fall off me.   I do have one question.  Does anyone have suggestions for what works best for constipation?  I already take benefiber daily.  I tried Miralax too without much help. 

Sounds like you are doing awesome Michelle!  We've missed you!  Back to work kinda stinks, but I guess it's part of life!      You'll have to post some pix!    As for the constipation....try to increase your fiber, get plenty of fluids........and I take colace daily!  Works for me!  Hope it works out for you!  Congrats on your success!!!!!!!!!  Ruth

Hi Michelle, Welcome back!!!  Congratulations on the new clothes...it actually becomes FUN to shop. As for the constipation...I still have issues with it and have found that the bnefiber chewables work and Dr. L actually put me back on stool softners with a laxative.  Spent today at the hospital getting an upper & lower GI and they think it's constipation.  OUCH
