Hello everyone,  My name is Pam and I live in South Portland. Today is my 3 year Bandiversary !!!   Yeah.   Being 3 years out I have to admit I am a bit disappointed as I have not yet reached my weight loss goals. For the last year I have to admit that life got in the way of my following the "band" way of life for the last year. I have been plateaued in this last year. I am going for my first fill in over a year, this Wednesday. I am excited about the upcoming fill but I have to admit that I am fearful. I have allowed myself to give in to some bad habits and have made bad dietary choices over the last year. So, I guess, what I am looking for from everyone is help, ideas of what on earth I am going to eat to follow the rules and support through this time. I know I learned so much when I was here before I supported as much as took support. I look forward to making many new friends here.

Good morning Disney girl,  I am also a bandster and am still a newbie.  I had my wls on 4/21/08, I have only receive one fill and do not have any restrictions.  I totally understand how easy it it to get back into bad habbits, but continue and try to follow a good eating plan and count my calories.  As the rest of my life has been, weekends are hard, we entertain and go out alot and enjoy life, and being on a diet isn't so much fun, and having fun IS MY LIFE...I will be going in for a fill on July 1st I look forward to getting some restriction so I can at least control my intake of food.  I am curious why you waited so long to return for a fill.  Have you still got a good restriction?  are your bad habbits quantity of food or quality of food??  Also, I am NOT, other then the Dr. 's, setting a goal,  I will be happy and satisfied if I am comfortable and healthy.  I have only lost 25 lbs, most pre op and already am feeling a small difference, I got a size 16 pants last week and I wore them a few nights ago and were baggie as night went on, I should have got a 14, and in my mind, a 14 is great I think I look good in a 14.  Being skinny/not my style. I do look foward to hearing about your journey.  how have you felt?  and problems? I should probably read your profile, hehe  have a great day.  and welcome to the board.  Hugs, Cheryl

I am willing to help however I can help. Different surgery but I believe food choices should be similar. Glad you rejoined us.
