Raining

AHHHHHHH can you hear our beautiful earth sigh in relief, and see the grass and flowers reaching up, up to be renewed and replenished?  I can, this, as my husband the farmer says, is a nice rain and so needed.  I am sorry if it is spoiling some plans today, but, it costs my DH 60$ an hour per pump(diesel) to irrigate his fields so we are rejoicing and thanking God for this beautiful day.  Love you all and Happy Father's Day to all of your DHs, sig others, sons who made you grands, and any other great men in your life who we honor today. Kate, your absolutely right, my gardens are loving this, and I too, cause it was another painting day and I thought ohhhh, it will be wonderful working inside and not seeing everyone playing outside, on the lake, BUT!!! now the paint is all bubbling, OHHHH< NOOOO... i'm on line looking for solutions, trying to stay possitive tho.  will be making DH a meatloaf and baked potatoe for lunch so that wil help with the humidity.  well, one good thing, son is home helping us and I don't have to water all my gardens,  Happy Fathers Day to all Dads,  Love you too, Cheryl Hugsss

What a beautiful way to look at a rainy day! My garden is really loving this rain too, and because I have to travel to NC for work this week, I am getting in some rest this afternoon, instead of weeding, mowing, etc.  I do have to go see my dad today, and chances are, I will catch him home today. He is a farmer too, and won't be in the fields becuase it is raining. I will look at a good rainy day, in a much brighter way now, THANKS!
