so I just finished mowing the back lawn and shoveling about  4 wheelbarrel full of dirt, I am sweating, my ankles are throbbing and my heart is pounding out of my chest.  as I think of my NUT's words, that garden work isn't cardio....obviously she has never seen me do it.  I"m pissed !! and wiped out.  2 hours of this is deffinetly a workout.  so there, blwwwwwwwwwww

Belly Laugh Cheryl you are too funny. I would say you have had your workout for the day. Have a relaxing afternoon, don't forget to stay hydrated.

I agree...gardening is WONDERFUL exercise.  Same Nut. doesn't think riding is exercise.  Guess she has never been in a saddle.  According to most sites even va******* is considered exercise.

Anytime you are up moving your exercising. I just think Corinne meant that to get the aerobic cardio benefits from exercise you may need to do a different form of exercise. No doubt gardening and riding you are burning calories. Keep up the exercise no matter what kind you are doing its all good.
