So I got really tired of coughing and running a temp off and on.  I finally called my PCP this morning and they gave me an appt for this afternoon.  Sooooo...to make a long story short....  I have fluid in my left lung!  I have flippin' pneumonia!!!!!  Doc did say I was looking pretty good for someone who was walking around with it! haha  (She's sooo funny!  NOT)  She thinks it probably started as a virus (thanks DH!) and then settled/collected in my lung.  How wonderful!!!  So, she's making me stay home from work tomorrow...which is great since I have no sick or vacation time left!!  WOO HOO!!  And, I have to start antibiotics.  At least now I know this cough wasn't all "in my head" so to speak!  I've yet to work a full week....at least my supervisor is being really nice about all this!  So......I'll be home tomorrow if anyone's bored....pm me!  haha   Have a great evening!   Ruth

oh, no Ruth... well, good girl for going to see pcp.  now, you have a few days to rest, I dont' even want to hear that you went for a 10 mile jog....  REST !!!!  I wonder if my DH has it too, he just can't stop coughing.  i'm fine, and got over it in a few days, but he is still hakkin, i'm sure sitting in the mist and cold wind didn't help last night.   now he is golfing, bonehead.  Ruth you take care, nice hot cocoa, warm bath and blanket, cuddle right up tonight, enjoy your day off, i'll be aorund, but will be outside in garden alot, I HOPE.... warm hugs, cheryl

I think he should go get checked out!  I figured this was just a virus, but I guess we can be wrong!  Although....my DH hasn't listened to me so why should yours??   So, you all don't think it would be a good idea to go running tomorrow?   haha!  I think I'd keel over and die after 2 steps!  haha    Nice thought tho!!!!!!!!!!!

Ruth.......                For goodness sakes, take it easy and get some rest! No wonder you've felt as bad as you have. At least your doctor has a good sense of humor (Not!)                 I'm not working at Hannaford tomorrow as it's my son Jon's high school graduation tomorrow night. It's hard to believe that two of my children have made it through high school and I have but one left to go.....and he has 3 years of high school left!                 So, think of me while you're resting. I will be busy running around trying to get things organized.                 Again, Take is easy and take care....... Anne

Awww Ruth. Wish I lived closer I would do your running around for you. The antibiotics should help you start to feel better real soon. Don't forget to take your colace with them cause they tend to bind you up. HUGS
