Hi all, I'm excited and a little apprehensive about starting purees.  I still have a hard time eating/ drinking everything I'm supposed to on most days so I'm afraid I'll really have a hard time but I'll do my best.  I am so looking forward to having an egg!!!  So funny because I was on Atkins for almost two years and swore them off forever, along with jello....(still won't eat jello)  I looked up Eggface's recipe ideas for the pureed stage and they sound great..... God Bless that woman for being so inventive with the differnt stages of this surgery.  I'm hoping to find some unflvored protein powder  to sneak into my food, because the shakes take tooo long to get down.  Hope you all are having a great day.

Good luck with this phase...it was my least favorite!! Don't ru**** tho, even if you think you can, that is how peeps get into trouble. I used Eggface's recipes, too.  Eggs were ok, egg beaters worked better for me for some reason-still... I love the protein pwd shakes so still start my day that way, notch up 30+ gras of protein right from the start. It does get easier, but not during these 2 weeks, I don't think.  Keep talking to us, tho, sorry I' m not more positive.  Puree stage for me was get through it!! hugs, kate

Hi Keela!  Congrats on moving on to the next step!  Like everyone else has said, take it slow and do your best (which I know you do anyways!)  Always remember you can supplement with the protein drinks and unflavored protein can be added along the way.  I found purees weren't that bad.  Eggface's stuff is great....just go slow!  It gets better and better the further you get along!  Keep us posted!  Have a great day yourself!!!!!  Ruth
