Still having issues

I'm still feeling pretty bad today.  It's been a long day, I know I'm going to be tired, but when I got home from DD's game, I was dizzy!  I have gotten my fluids and protein in and have upped my calories some too.  I've still got a cough (feels like it's in my chest.....not coughing all the time, but enough to be irritating).  i've had a headache since yesterday too (I thought it was my pre-menstrual headache, but those usually only last 1 day.)  So, if it's not better by tomorrow, I'm calling the PCP....but, in the mean time.....any suggestions???

Sorry to hear your still not feeling well   You may want to give Dr. Loggins office a call. When I went thru WLS they did tell us that if we got sick or a cold that made us cough a lot to let them know . Did they ever say anything like that to you? You are still just a few months post op you would not want to hurt anything inside of you from coughing. If I was you I would give them a call and see what they say it couldn't hurt................ take care   ................ hope you feel   better soon              Linda

Thanks Linda. I don't remember them saying anything about coughing, but then again, I'm pretty much out of it tonight anyways...it may come to me tomorrow!  haha   I'll probably call someone tomorrow if I don't feel better.  As soon as I'm done my paperwork, I'm heading to bed!  Thanks, Ruth

Ruth i'm sorry you still not feeling well.  I know i have read somewhere about the cough, but that was with the band, i'm not sure if the same is true with RNY.  Also, with your DD and DH being sick and your Imunity might be low some with all the weight you've lost.  I'd certainly give the dr. a call tho, if you don't get better, he might want your bloodwork done earlier.  REST and drink TONS..... Thanks you gals!  Now, I gotta decide which doc to call!  Do I call my PCP first or Dr L?  I'm still dizzy, coughing some, just feeling kinda blah!  Oh well, I'll see what happens today!  Have a great day everyone!

lol I was even dizzy in my sleep last night. I am having major allergy issues ears all blocked up almost migraine material here grrrrrr!!! I thought they were gone. I have had the headache too Ruth I think for me it is truly allergies. Sunday after church I was so agitated thought I was going to jump out of my skin. Ya know jittery like I had had 5 pots of coffee which I had not. took a benedryl and it eased up a little. I have had a little cold as well nothing major though. It was about my 2 month check up that I was just so tired all the time too. That is when I found out my Ferretin ( Stored Iron) Was low and pcp said that can take quite a long time to build back up. Hope you feel better soon.

OMG, Sunday night, DH and I went out in Hot TUb, silly me, I was going underwater, and go****er in my ears, it hasn't come out yet, and it is drivign me  nuts, I can't hear anything, I"ve got the TV so loud my carpenters are yelling to hear each other. I've been jumping with my head to the side, (dog is humping my leg) yawning, I was doing something in the bathroom yesterday and thought I heard something and just screamed, it was me all the time, I could just hear some strange scratching noise, I thought it was a mouse.   I might have to go see a dr. if this keeps up. no allergies here, just some stupid old lady doing tricks in the hot tub. 

Are you feeling any better this morning Ruth? I hope so. Take care of yourself and do what you need to do in order to do that!

I spoke with Crystal at Dr L's office, she thinks I just have a virus...rest and fluids.  Thanks DH and DD!!!!!!  I'm sure I got it from them!  I've got a short day at work, so I'm gonna go finish and then spend the rest of the day drinking and resting!  Thanks everyone!  Ruth
