Babysitter?????

I already tried to post this once but it didn't go through, so I'll try again! We're looking for an occasional evening/weekend sitter for Jake. I figured that since he's now 18 months that we might as well finally get him a sitter! I figured I'd ask you guys if any of you have teens that sit or if you know of a good sitter in the area ? You guys always have info for me! TIA- Summer

I've got a 15 year old daughter who babysits at times (when she's not playing softball). She sits with the kids down the hill from us (9, and twins that are 5).  She used to help out at the daycare I had them in too.  She might be interested. If you'd like to meet her, let me know!  Ruth DUH!  You DID meet her at the support group...but if you'd like to meet her again..let me know!

Oh, that's right! She'd make a great sitter for Jake! She struck me as so responsible and sweet. A good girl through and through! What does she charge?

She basically just takes what people give her....she's not really picky!  haha  I can ask her after her game today and let you know!

Definetly! That would be super! Jake is super easy and sleeps like a champ! She probably would end up being able to watch TV and play Xbox 90 percent of the time she'd be here! LOL Jake goes to bed at 7:30 at night so he'd be easy to look after!

Hi Summer, I talked to the kiddo and she'd love to babysit for you.  She says she'll take whatever you want to give her and she'll be happy (she wants to go back to the flea market in NH...haha)  She'd like to meet Jake so they can get to know each other a little bit, but she was all excited about it!  Just let me know.....  Ruth

That sounds great! We'll set up a play date so she can come and play with the boy while we chat! We'll have to find a time! Yippie! :)
