Summer Gathering

I know I said in the past that I was going to organize this.  I have been in depression mode since I came back from Paris..  But I am better now!!  Doc upped my meds.   So if anyone is interested, I still am.  I am available the weekend of the 16th or 23rd of August. So where we going to have it?We need to get this going. I think we can still do it peeps!!

At this point I am  good for any weekend in august. Would love to be able to include my kids but if not possible I know a couple of grand parents that would love my kids for the weekend lol. They always try to steal my kids when they come visit.

Welcome back, makes me happy your feeling better.  Lets do it girl.  I dont' care where or when, August looks open to me.  I probably won't be bringing my DH at this point, THis will be my day, meeting my friends, he really don't want to go (SHY personality), meeting all those new people would be enought to throw him over the edge.  The River Queen in Naples, 2 hour cruise sounds good, even with the bridge down the qeen usually stays on the Long Lake side, but will be a shorter trip.  Campgrounds are fine with me too?  or if we keep the gathering small, maybe just girls or just DH's or  guest, I would volunteer my house.  We need all the input here guys.  yooohooo!!! SUMMERTIME!!!!!

I would prefer the 23rd as my daughter's 3rd birthday party is scheduled for the 17th.  But, let me know and I'll see what I can do. 

I will be in Washington DC from the 17th through the 23rd so any of those dates would  be out for me. Which stinks because I really want to go.  Let meknow what you all decide.  Missi 

any weekend in aug work for me right now .. as i am waiting on a surg ..  but  when we find out where and when  i will plan a getway for DH and I  as it will be 5 year anv.. so let me know  when and where and if i need to bring anything ..  have a good day  and very happy to see u back Kathi G

Either weekend would be ok with me but I need to know soon to be able to request the day off from work. My boss is good about giving requested days off IF asked for well in advance and IF no other vacations are in the mix at the same time. Anne

I haven't been here much but I would love to go and my schedule is flexible!  I live in the willey wags here in Washington County so anywhere will be a long trip but since it's part of my work anyway I'm used to it.  I would love to come!!  Cheryl
