very scary moment

I was starving and hadn't eaten much today so i splurged and had a McDonalds hamburger.i wasn't paying attention to chewing as i was talking to my daughter.It got stuck so bad.I was so scared.It hurt like hell.I thought i was gonna have to go to the ER..very scary..hopefully i learned my lesson....had anyone ever had that scary feeling?

yes. it was on chinese chicken on a stick. i had to purge to get it out. really hurts. when did you have surgery?

i see. sometimes we forget to slow down and chew really well. i still do that sometimes. especially if i'm in a hurry. i'm lucky to get 2-3 ounces at a time anyway. i can do about half of a burger. anymore set way too hard. i'm glad you're feeling better. have a great weekend.

I have had it happen only once really bad though. It really does hurt. It is definitely a good reminder though.

Hasn't happened to me yet (but I'm pretty early out, if you call almost 6 weeks early haha) I hope it NEVER happens...it sounds wayyyy too scary to me! Glad you got it "unstuck" and are feeling better! Ruth

Thanks..yes i did get in unstuck but it took me about 5 drinks of water to wa**** down.Scariest thing ever.very painful..Hope it never happens again...
