1 month out from surgery

OK so here I am one month out from surgery.  Boy what a month it has been.  I was at Dr Trieu's office on Monday to learn how to give myself B-12 shots (needed once a month) and While I was there I checked my weight.  I am down a total of 64 lbs from September when I had my first consult and 17 from surgery.  I have learned a lot of things in this past month but the biggest one is to preportion my meals.  I have some babyfood jars that when I open or make something I store it in so that when it is time to eat I do not have to worry about how much to have I just grab one of the jars.  That has been a big help because I have gotten sick a couple of times from eating too much (I am still trying to deal with the "empyt your plate" teaching).  I am glad that I have done this surgery.  I did get my ears re-pierced when I reached 50lbs lost and I also got my medical alert bracelet with the band to match my new ear rings (light and dark blue)  I only have 11 pounds to go to reach my next goal.

Hi Peggy, good to see your post, you are doing great. The baby food jars are a good idea, I'm going to have my daugter save some for me. I like glass better than plastic.
