Sorry
Hi all Judy here I'm now 2 weeks out and 2 days. Sorry I haven't been online. I couldn't remember how to get into the program. Brain cramps. I had a huge surprise following surgery my son surprised me for mother's day and came home with his girlfriend for a visit. What a shock. He hadn't been home in 2 years so I was completely floored. My husband kept that Mother's day present a secret. Best gift I ever received. So its been pretty busy at the house. Seems all everyone did was eat. I wasn't hunger but it felt weird (like I was jealous) of everyone eating? They returned home to Florida on Monday so things are back to normal. I'm pretty bored, tired. I've been walking a lot and doing light house work. I've lost 15 pounds last thursday and plan to weigh myself tomorrow. I'm glad everyone seems to be doing well. I had a few problems in the hospital but got through the situation ok. The hospital was under construction and talk about not getting any rest. My roommate was swell we walked and walked the halls as much as possible. Its really not that painfully a surgery which was a big surprise. I had more of a problem getting the sticky stuff off my stomach. I need some help on how to change my surgery date etc. I will post after the big weigh in tomorrow. I was wondering if everyone else worries about not losing weight?
Another question? When you feel like your ready to get back to work you call the office? Do you have to have a meeting? Let me know I'm not ready yet but I'm sure at 5 weeks I'm going to want to go back part time. Talk soon. Missed you all.

Hi Judy,
Dr. Loggins gave me permission to go back to work at my 2 week appointment. He really wanted me to stay out for the 6 weeks but I'll bet he'll give you a note saying you can go back sooner if you want to and feel up to it.
Glad to hear you're healing well. I'm almost 3 months out and am down 43 pounds since surgery. I also thought I'd be the one that wouldn't lose weight. There's no way. It will come off. I found once I felt up to walking it really came off pretty good.
Hang in there. You're doing great.

Hey Judy, Glad to hear you are doing well. 15 pounds in 2 weeks is an awesome loss btw. Keep it up. I am a little over 4 months out from surgery and have lost 551/2 since surgery. I was nauseated when my family ate for the first couple weeks lol the smell of food ewwww. Now is a different story. But when I see my hubby and kids eating things I can't have I just get a grin on my face cause I know how healthy I am becoming.
